After three long years, our annual charity iftar is finally back! This year, we’re taking part in The Barakah Projects to raise money for humanitarian relief in Afghanistan.
The Barakah Projects are a national initative co-ordinated through MSA Nederland with 9 Dutch MSAs collaborating with IHH Nederland to get money where it’s most needed.

This iftar is a part of The Barakah Projects, a co-ordinated effort with 9 Dutch MSAs under MSA Nederland working with IHH NL to raise money for the dire humanitarian situation in Afghanistan.
Additionally, this year’s iftar is both sustainable and green under the Green Iftar initiative.

Ibn `Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated:
“The Prophet was the most generous of all people, and he used to become more generous in Ramadan when Gabriel met him. Gabriel used to meet him every night during Ramadan to revise the Qur’an with him. So, Allah’s Messenger then used to be more generous than the fast wind.” (Al-Bukhari)
The MSA would like to take this blessed occasion to pray that Allāh (subḥānahu wa taʿālā) bestows the Muslims across the globe a safe, secure and blessed Ramaḍān. May Allāh (subḥānahu wa taʿālā) have mercy on those who are suffering, grant them patience, victory and bring them justice in the Dunya and Ākhira, Āmīn.
